"EM" stands for effective microorganisms, which are baked into the ceramic. This changes the dog's environment, making the dog less attractive to ticks.
Cleaning: Clean heavily soiled EM ceramic beads with clear water so that they can fully develop their effect again. 100% tick protection cannot be guaranteed.
