"EM" stands for effective microorganisms that are baked into the ceramic. This changes the environment around the dog, making the dog less attractive to ticks.
Cleaning: For heavy soiling, clean the EM-ceramic beads with clear water so they can fully regain their effectiveness. 100% tick protection cannot be guaranteed.
Important note: The EM-ceramic collar serves as an accessory and is not a substitute for a dog collar.
