"EM" stands for effective microorganisms, which are fired into ceramic. This changes the dog's environment, making the dog less attractive to ticks.
Cleaning: Clean the EM ceramic beads with clear water if heavily soiled so that they can regain their full effect. 100% tick protection cannot be guaranteed.
