Place the measuring tape around your dog's neck while standing, exactly as it should fit. The adjustment range consists of 3 holes – the middle hole should correspond exactly to the measured neck circumference. There is another hole to the left and right for sufficient leeway. This eliminates the need for an unnecessarily large adjustment range, and almost the entire length of the collar can be used for a coherent, lovingly designed look.
